BLÆST

We headed to the Falls of Feugh on the edge of the Cairngorms to test some gear from the Norwegian brand BLÆST.

Founded in 2005 in Ålesund, where the terrain is rough and nature close, BLÆST creates high-quality outerwear that balances function and fashion. Made to be used anytime, anywhere and inspired by their unique surroundings on the west coast of Norway, BLÆST delivers products shaped with a unique Scandinavian sensibility that perform equally on city streets as they do across any outdoor scene.

We ventured to the Falls of Feugh, where two rivers converge on the edge of the Cairngorms equipped with all gear featuring BLÆST's 3L Dry-Tech Pro waterproof technology, ready to test the products against the elements. First, we had the Aalesund Poncho in our arsenal. It is a relaxed fit, taped, seamed sealed, unisex rain poncho featuring dual front pockets. It is finished with an adjustable hood and a high neckline, making it the perfect companion on even the most rainy and windy days. Next up was the Signalen Anorak, an oversized, easy-to-wear anorak jacket with a side zipper, adjustable waist cord and a front kangaroo pocket that doubles as a stow bag for easy carry when not in use. The Signalen is finished with a removable, reflective branded zipper pull used across the BLÆST product range.

BLÆST products are produced according to the EU's environmental and quality standards and OEKO-TEX standard 100, with production controlled and approved by the brand's quality controllers, meaning you can be confident of the level of due care and attention that goes into each garment.
