Helly Hansen

Reaching into their extensive archive, Helly Hansen launched a modular themed capsule earlier this year inspired by the technical workwear they have produced throughout the years. Among the items included in the release was the Heritage Rain Jacket, which features an interactive modular pocket system, featuring a utility bag, developed by using a special nylon clip, which tightly grips on a range of tool holding modules, emphasising the collection’s practical origins and allowing the wearer to adapt the system to suit their needs.

We grabbed the jackets and set off to the edge of the North Sea to test them out. With the wind beating against us and the rain closing in, the Heritage Rain Jacket stood up against the elements, providing a comfortable solution to the harsh weather we faced. The jacket offers a completely sealed and PFC-free shell resistant to water, which uses Helox fabric - created by HH in the 1940s - reinforcing the hood and shoulders for greater protection.
