We ventured into the Scottish Highlands to field-test the brand's Outdoor Garments capsule collection.

Transitioning from Autumn to Winter in Scotland can be challenging and requires adaptability. We encounter constantly changing conditions and unpredictable, harsh weather in the city or the mountains. KESTIN has launched its Outdoor Garments capsule collection in response to this seasonal shift, designed to provide a seamless transition between these two worlds. The collection offers versatile layering options that provide optimal comfort and protection against cold weather. With insulated jackets, waterproof shells, and warm fleece options available, you can create a customised shield against the elements.

The capsule comprises four pieces, each designed with unique features to prepare you for the upcoming months. The Cuillin Down jacket is an insulated 750-fill down jacket with onion-stitched quilting, a water-repellent finish, and a cord-adjustable hood for greater mobility. The Dunkeld Shell offers complete waterproof protection with its 3-layer waterproof shell and taped seam construction. It features a hood and hem with cord adjustment, underarm pit zips for ventilation, and six external pockets for carrying outdoor provisions. KESTIN offers two fleece options: the Nevis Fleece and Glenmore Vest. Both garments are made of a 9.5oz soft recycled fleece, perfect for the coldest days. They feature a YKK 2 Way Vislon Zip, which enhances functionality and are finished with subtle KESTIN logo embroidery on the chest. The Nevis comes with three external zip pockets, while its counterpart, the Glenmore, has an exterior zip pocket at the chest and two outer patch pockets.
